The HondenSport Ohio DVG Club is a training club with a lot of friendly, helpful people. We have a field in Pataskala, Ohio. At this facility we work on the three areas of the sport. Protection, Obedience and Tracking. Our club has many talented, fantastic and fun people to train with. For the most part, our club is handler-owner-trainers (HOT). We have a few helpers/trainers. John Bernard (Head training director),and Cory Dewberry (helper). Anyone in central Ohio who may be interested in joining should stop by to check us out. We train all year long..
It is with great sadness that I post this message.
Our wonderful friend, trainer, and club President, Det. Marty Martin, was killed in an auto accident while on duty on September 6, 2008.
1973 - 2008
On March 13, 2009, Marty's wife Jodi died peacefully at her parents home surrounded by family and friends. She was 36. Marty and Jodi are together again, this time forever . May God bless them both.
