This is a video of Ellie shortly after I had received her. She has never done bite work, she was a totally green dog.
This was taken about December 2008. Jager was about 19 months old.
This video was taken March 7, 2009. This is a brief protection session where we are teaching Jager a fuller stronger bite. He is only about 22 months old and this is still a big game to him. Our intention is to create a harder bite.
During this session one of our new club dogs was able to get our of his crate. However, these dogs have to have a good disposition and temperament to do this type of work. As you will see there were no incidents during this occurance. Good, solid nerved dogs!
This video was taken on July 1, 2009. Marta just turned 10 months old. Our trainers feel it is a good idea to wait to train at that age due to mental maturity. I tend to agree after watching my girl. This is her second tug session.
